Prickly Ash at Cedar Bog

16.00

Limited print. 5 x 5 matted photograph, numbered signed by Erika Galentin. Acid free matting. Also comes with the following description:

Prickly ash (Zanthoxylum americanum), one of our only native members of the citrus family (Rutaceae). This species has a long history of being used to support peripheral circulation. I decided to eat some of the fruits just to see how they would feel in my mouth.  They are zippy and zingy for certain and remind me of the energetics of the bark. Encouraging movement of the blood to its farthest extremities.
