ONLINE CLASS: Herbal Fundamentals for Fertility Support with Camille

  • PO BOX 15 McArthur, Ohio, 45651 (map)

Working with fertility clients can be an incredibly meaningful area of herbal practice, but it also requires a solid grasp of important safety considerations and guidelines. For many clients, this chapter is marked by hope, uncertainty, and sometimes grief or frustration. As herbalists, we can offer support on many different levels for clients who are trying to conceive.

In this class, we’ll cover the essentials of herbal support for fertility: foundational physiology, common patterns you’re likely to see in practice, key actions and herbs to consider, and guidance on working alongside conventional care. We’ll take a "big tent" approach, recognizing that fertility journeys are diverse and deeply personal. Whether you’re new to this work or looking for a refresher, you’ll leave with practical tools to help your clients feel seen, supported, and empowered when they are trying to conceive.

Camille Freeman has been in practice as an herbalist and nutritionist since 2003, with a focus on fertility, pregnancy, and menstrual health. She runs Monday Mentoring, a community of practice for herbalists and nutritionists, and offers continuing education courses for practitioners. Camille also has a podcast, In the Clinic with Camille, and is the author of the book Write Better Newsletters: Grow your 1:1 Practice with Emails People Actually Want to Read. She holds a doctorate in clinical nutrition from MUIH (now part of Notre Dame of Maryland), as well as masters degrees in both herbal medicine (from MUIH) and physiology (from Georgetown University).
